Jurbarkas district municipal administration

The Municipal Administration, under direction of the Director of the Municipal Administration, executes the assignments of the Municipal Council, the Council Committees, the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor, drafts the decisions of the Municipal Council, Mayor's decrees and other documents, and makes proposals for ensuring the implementation of legal acts. The Municipal Administration also monitors that the decisions of the Municipal Council, commissions or orders of the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor are properly and timely executed by the municipal institutions.

The municipal administration consists of structural units (divisions, services), structural territorial units (elderships) and civil servants outside the structural units.
